The Book Launching of The Glossary of Communication and The Certificate awarding Ceremony of Essay Writing competition titled The Literary Mission of Munidasa Kumarathunge

The Book Launching of “The Glossary of Communication” & The Certificate awarding Ceremony of Essay Writing competition titled “The Literary Mission of Munidasa Kumarathunge” organized by Sri Lanka Press Council was held at “Banku Widu Piyasa”, Rajagiriya on 10 th of July in 2019.

Respectively the key note addresses on “The importance of Glossary of Communication”, “The Literary Mission of Munidasa Kumarathunge”, “Appreciation of Munidasa Kumarathunge’s songs” were done by Mr. Kalakeerthi Dr. Edwin Ariyadasa, Professor Sandagomi Coperahewa The Head of the Department of Sinhala, University of Colombo & Sangeet visharad Mr. Jagath Wickramasinghe.

Many Scholars such as Hon. Father Dr. Kamilas Fernando,Mr Sunil Samaraweera the Secretary at Ministry of Media , Emeritus Professor Sunanda Mahendra, Emeritus Professor Chandarasiri Rajapakshe, Professor Rohana Lakshman Piyadasa & Dr . Asantha .U. Aththanayake was participated in this special occassion.

Senior Attorney at Law Mr. Koggala Wellala Bandula, the Chairman of Sri Lanka Press council, the member of the board of directors veteran Journalist Mr. Mudita Kariyakarawana, the member at the board of directors Mr. M.D.P. Kumara Dharmarathne, The Press Commissioner Mr. Niroshana Thambawita, The Assistant Press Commissioner Mr. Ayesh Wijayasinghe & the Accountant Mr. Kushan Devapriya was also attended to this event.
